OUR THIRD SCHOOL visit was at the Ignatius Byer Primary School in St Lucy, on Monday, January 30.
Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society, James Paul met with the students there and told them about the importance of local agriculture, and of course about the island’s biggest agricultural exhibition – Agrofest.
He invited the students and their teachers to the event which will be held in Queen’s Park from February 24, – 26. He told them there is so much to see and do on those days, including the Sheep Show and the Dog Show.
As a lead up to Agrofest, Mr. Paul is expected to visit more schools across the island.
