TODAY WE RECOGNISE International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS) and we salute Barbadian Women and Girls in Agricultural Science.
This year IDWGIS is focusing on the role of Women and Girls and Science as it relates to the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.
We believe that the theme Innovate.Demonstrate.Elevate.Advance.Sustain or I. D. E.A.S. relates to the key role Agriculture plays in food security and sustainable development in Barbados and the region.
