OUR SCHOOL VISITS have started again! Monday, January 16 we headed to Selah Primary in Content St. Lucy and we had a wonderful time with the little ones, talking to them about agriculture and Agrofest.  The students eagerly raised their hands to answer questions from our CEO, James Paul. We even gave away tickets to the event.

Selah is a past winner of our kitchen garden competition, but as you can see their current garden needs some love; there are still some peppers and pumpkin vines planted, so we chatted with Principal Maxine Husbands on how we can restore
the garden to its former glory.

Thank you Selah for having us. Never know, we may be coming to your school next.

While the green monkey population must be controlled to ensure that Barbados has a thriving agricultural sector, the monkey is also an interesting component of Barbados’ rather depleted biodiversity and is a tourist attraction.
